The body knows the way—our work is to help you listen.

Whether you’re carrying the effects of trauma, recognizing the stress passed down through generations-or you’re simply seeking to reconnect with your body’s natural vitality—Embodied Therapy and Wellness provides a gentle, compassionate, body-centered approach to help your nervous system find safety and healing.

Trauma is not only about what has happened to you; it lives in the body as unresolved activation, patterns of protection, and relational strategies formed in response to past experiences. Healing arises as we gently support the completion of these responses and begin to restore balance and safety from within.

Together, we explore how developmental and attachment experiences may continue to shape your present relationships, self-perception, and emotional responses. By tuning into the body’s subtle signals—sensations, impulses, and internal rhythms—we cultivate embodied awareness and the capacity for self-regulation, connection, and repair.

This is a space to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with your body’s wisdom. Through this process, we honor the survival responses that have helped you get through challenging times, recognizing their important role in your story and begin creating space for presence, vitality, and authentic connection to emerge.

Here to help you listen to your body’s intelligence and restore your natural flow of vitality.

Welcome, I’m Leanne.

Founder of Embodied Therapy and Wellness, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Yoga Teacher

I offer somatic therapy and holistic wellness practices, providing individuals with a comprehensive approach to healing and growth. My speciality is working with individuals healing from various forms of trauma including but not limited to developmental and intergenerational trauma. My approach is rooted in Somatic Experiencing and deeply informed by attachment theory, recognizing the importance of connection in healing.

In addition to being a therapist, I’m also a Registered Yoga Teacher.
